The Palais de Chaillot, also known as Trocadero, stands on the Chaillot hill which faces the Eiffel Tower. Go to the Palais de Chaillot and you can have a great view of the Eiffel Tower. The place also offers beautiful museums. Try strolling along Palais de Chaillot going to the Eiffel Tower which is across the Seine River for a fantastic sightseeing experience in Paris.
By staying at the Palais de Chaillot, a great view of the Eiffel Tower on the river Seine side can be experienced. This historical building is also worth seeing because of its museums and aquarium.
The Palais de Chaillot has an austere ambiance as it stands tall on the ground above Seine, having two curving wings on the side. Architect Jacques Carku, Louis-Auguste Boileau and Leon Azeme built the palace in 1937 at the same area of the old Palais du Trocadero. Its main terrace connects the tow wings, with beautiful bronze statues gleaming at the sides.
Four museums can be found on the wings of the Palais. By the west, there is Musee de la Marine and Musee de l’Homme. On the east wing, there’s the Musee du Cinema and Musee des Monuments Francais.
